METAMOTO PARKING AND VEHICLE CIRCULATION STANDARD v2 (MANDATORY) Applies to every building, driveway, curbside parking, service yard, parking garage, bus depot and street tile with vehicle access. Render in strict 2D orthographic top-down, true-size 100% print. PRIORITY: A vehicle must be able to enter from a connected road, travel an unobstructed aisle, enter a stall, back out (or pull through), turn and exit without crossing a curb, another stall, sidewalk, building, grass or object. Show complete driving geometry, not decorative rows of stalls. Toy-friendly design units override architectural scale where necessary. The existing ROAD-4 is 4.00 inches across. Typical toy vehicle design envelope: 1.00 inch wide x 3.00 inches long (test against actual toys; enlarge for trucks). Stall: minimum 1.50 inches wide x 3.50 inches deep for standard toy cars; accessible/van and emergency stalls larger. 90-degree stalls require 4.00 inches CLEAR two-way maneuvering aisle (prefer 5.00 inches where reversing/turning requires it). One-way angled parking: minimum 3.00 inches clear aisle with consistent directional arrows and forward-only approach. Parallel parking: 1.50 inches x 4.50 inches minimum, with curbside approach and space to maneuver. Do not claim these are literal municipal code dimensions; they are scaled play standards inspired by real circulation principles. PARKING GEOMETRY: 90-degree double-loaded module is stall depth 3.50 + aisle 4.00 + stall depth 3.50 = 11.00 inches, before islands/curbs. This cannot fit across an 8.5-inch page. Use adjoining pages and accurately aligned assembly guides. Single-loaded module is 3.50 + 4.00 = 7.50 inches before buffer. Do not compress aisle or stalls to force one-page fit. ACCESS: driveway throat must connect flush to a valid street/road port; minimum 2.00-inch one-way access and 4.00-inch two-way access, widened at turns. Distinguish sidewalk crossings and keep curb cuts continuous. Show inbound/outbound paths; no dead-end aisle without an adequate turnaround or an explicit reverse maneuver. Keep entry queuing off through lanes where practical. TURNING: round or chamfer aisle ends, corners, garage openings, gate islands and landscape islands so a physical toy can negotiate them. Test with a 1.00 x 3.00-inch rectangle swept along centerline and at 90-degree stall maneuvers; use a larger template for fire engines, buses and delivery trucks. Never place trees, light poles, hydrants, dumpsters, crosswalk islands, or signs in a swept path. PARKING TYPES: houses use realistic street-to-driveway-to-garage/carport circulation and a driveway apron; apartments show visitor, resident and accessible spaces plus aisles; retail and schools show customer/drop-off lanes and safe pedestrian paths; hospitals show emergency-only bay separated from public parking; firehouses have straight, wide unobstructed apparatus apron and exit, never standard car stalls in front of doors; police stations show public/secure fleet separation; warehouses show truck loading and independent truck turning. Gas stations require clear pump-to-exit circulation. SIGNAGE: parking bay lines, end islands, wheel stops only where they do not block entry, directional arrows, entry/exit markings, accessible spaces and pedestrian crossings outside active maneuvering zones. Roofs/porches remain realistic from overhead, but never conceal critical vehicle routes. VALIDATION BEFORE RELEASE: (1) draw a complete entry-to-stall-to-exit path, (2) demonstrate reverse-out clearance for every non-pull-through stall, (3) verify aisle and stall measurements at actual size, (4) test large-vehicle routes where appropriate, (5) verify page seams, road ports and trim guides, (6) reject or expand any design that cannot satisfy all checks. Include a separate small circulation diagram and printable 1-inch calibration square on instruction pages, never on driveable pavement.
